It may sound incredible but it is true that HoD Microbiology, Former Principal among many Senior Doctors of the Premier Government Institute GMC Jammu prefer Narayana for treatment of Covid-19 over their own institute as the system at GMC Jammu has come to a grinding halt due to Government apathy. 

The Doctors and resources at GMC Jammu are running thin and there is a need to completely overhaul the system. The limited number of Senior Residents, Post Graduates among other junior doctors are performing day and night duties at GMC Jammu while the Consultants and Senior Doctors have shrugged the responsibility. There is dearth of Oxygen, Medicines and other resources which are prerequisites to fight Covid-19. The junior doctors who have been performing Covid-19 duties have ran out of patience and giving it back to the patients who are already troubled with Covid-19. 

The situation at GMC has become very peculiar and unless the Government intervenes quickly, there shall be complete chaos in next few days. While, at Narayana the patient has improved because even the senior doctors and super-specialists have been pressed into Covid duties and the resources required to fight Covid have also been brought to the hospital in abundance.
